As you know, our neighbourhood is being overwhelmed by construction, its noise and attendant disruption to our lives and well-being. A major issue is the noise produced by the many construction sites in various building phases. The RRA has worked with the City and individual developers to mitigate the situation often with no results. Using the pandemic as an excuse, the Province has allowed construction to take place every day from 6am to 10pm. Councillors Josh Matlow and Kristyn Wong-Tam have developed a petition to the provincial government to reverse this decision and return to allowing construction 7am to 7pm on weekdays, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and not at all on Sundays.
