The Republic Residents’ Association (RRA) represents the community interests of residents at 25 Broadway Ave., 70 Roehampton Ave. and works in partnership with North Toronto Collegiate Institute (NTCI), residents of buildings adjacent to NTCI and other neighbourhood high-rises.
A major focus for the RRA over the past few years has been the city's plan for our neighbourhood. We have participated in many city consultations and presentations to City Council committees to help come up with a plan that took into account the liveability of our community without disrupting development.
Since development in our neighbourhood continues unabated and would have happened even if Midtown in Focus had been approved by the province, we are working with the city and individual developers to manage the construction.
