MARCH 16 WEEK
170 ROEHAMPTON
Work Plan and Traffic Updates for the week of March 16th:
Major Work:
The main activity is formwork for above grade building structure.
Regular working hours onsite will be starting at 7am to 5pm daily but expect Saturday work from 9am-5pm.
Traffic Events:
No changes: Gate #1 and #2 via Roehampton Ave will be the ONLY gates to the site – ALL deliveries and site traffic will be coming in/out the site through Gate #1 and #2.
Gate #3 via Redpath Ave remains temporarily closed – no site traffic from Redpath Ave next week.
Redpath Ave Overhead Protection and Temporary Hoarding: work is in progress and activity anticipated to complete next week. Measures will be taken for traffic control but expect periodic traffic delays on Redpath Avenue.
Roehampton and Redpath road work: City of Toronto contractor scheduled to mobilize end of the week and start work on the road to bring permanent site services to the project – lane reductions/closures to be expected and traffic delays on Roehampton Ave and Redpath Ave.
Concrete deliveries – we will have concrete trucks daily and the number of trucks will vary depending on the daily needs.
Concrete trucks coming to the site Monday-Friday for regular pours (walls/columns). We anticipate 1-5 trucks per day, which will be entering and exiting the site through Gate #2 via Roehampton Avenue.
Slab pours on Tuesday-Wednesday/Friday (weather permitted), and we anticipate 5-15 concrete trucks per day, which will be entering and exiting the site through Gate #2 via Roehampton Avenue.
Mobile Concrete Pumps with be setup on Tuesday-Wednesday/Friday morning (weather permitted) to facilitate the concrete pour.
53’ trailer truck delivering rebar Monday-Wednesday at 7am (weather permitted), through Gate #2 via Roehampton Avenue
Flatbed trucks delivering formwork materials. We expect 1-2 loads daily, which will be entering and exiting the site through Gate #1 and #2 via Roehampton Avenue.
Expect periodic small deliveries into the site from Gate #1/#2 via Roehampton Avenue.

▪ Increased rebar truck traffic should be expected between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

• General Trucking
o Beyond the excavation trucking noted above, all other truck traffic this week is
expected to be infrequent.
o Traffic control will continue to ensure safe access for pedestrians, cyclists, and
vehicles around the site.
o Traffic control personnel to remain at Erskine & Redpath crosswalk with crossing
guard when increased traffic is to be expected
o All trades reminded daily about no truck staging allowed on Erskine
Community Considerations
We remain committed to minimizing construction impacts on the neighborhood.
• Noise: Excavation/Shoring and material deliveries may generate typical construction noise;
however, all activities will take place within permitted working hours.
• Safety: Dedicated traffic control personnel will be present during key operations to ensure
safe passage for all road users.
